Gregory’s POV

The silence between us was loud, too loud that I wanted to break but I didn't know how to go about it.

For the past ten minutes she had been speaking to me but I always ignored her. She was definitely going to return the favor without a second thought.

Taking my gaze off the road momentarily, I saw her staring out of the window, her fists clenched on her thigh same as her jaw which was clenched.

She was deep in thought.

No doubt there was a war waging in her mind and right now, I wasn't a part of it as she had shut me off...
