I never realized silence could feel this loud.
The battlefield had already been cleared, the scent of burned magic and spilled blood fading into the chill of the late evening air.
Wolves were tending to their wounded. The
dragons circling above had begun their slow descent back to their mountains.
While all these were going on, the last remnants of the Seekers were being dragged away in chains.
