Damian dropped me gently and my feet landed softly on the marble floor in our bedroom. I felt an ugly shiver run down my spine as his thumb caressed my cheek, his manly hand cupping my side of the face.

"Thank you, Freya," he said. "You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you for finally giving me a chance."
