"What?!" Juliana exclaimed over the phone. "What did that Slade of a man come to do in your office?"

"Confrontation. He knew I was behind that Instagram posts, Julie."

"Please, tell me you put him in his place after that, hun."

"I did. But—" I try to control my breath.

"But what, Freya?"

"When I showed him the evidence on my phone, he was quite shocked. Like it seems strange to him somehow. I don't know, Julie."

"Girl, don't tell me you got wet down there after you saw him because I know you too well, Freya."

I giggled on the phone knowing Juliana isn't far from wrong...
