Freya's p.o.v

Damian's cold and harsh tone sent shivers down my spine. It made me wonder if I had done something terribly wrong to be welcomed with such demeanor.

"I just asked you a question, Freya?" he pressed further. "Where have you been going?"

"Juliana,"I retorted with a voice barely above a whisper. "I am just coming from Juliana's. And how do you mean by where I have been going, Damian?"

My response earned a scoff from him and he turned to face me, his hands dipped in his pant pockets.

"Say that again, Freya," his tone was colder this time that I felt the need to run for cover....
