"Drug addiction?"

My mind juggled between what the doctor had said and what I had believed about Damian.

The scream came again and my gaze shifted from the doctor to a thrashing Damian on the hospital bed—all tied down.

Never in my seven years would I have thought that Damian was a drug addict or even anywhere close.

How could I have not noticed? No wonder he'd always race out in an odd manner to use the bathroom every single time we go out on occasion. Sometimes, he'd act like he was going crazy and even pretty much aggressive with it. But I'd always overlook and think not...
