Jose's P.O.V.

 

Not many more words were exchanged between the two. I started hearing footsteps getting closer and I quickly went back behind the boxes. The ear piercing screech of the door was heard and I saw Jared come out of the room that Hedy was most definitely in.

 

He walked past me and I held my breath. Jared opened the door that leads to the outside, the screeching once again filling my ears.

 

I waited for a good ten minutes after he left just to make sure he was really gone. I came out from behind the boxes and went to the door, opening and leaving the building.
