26. Break up and make up.

Marcus's POV:

I felt her hesitation but I ignored it, pulling her even closer and deepening the kiss. She wasn't kissing back, so I knew that even after knocking out Maggie, she was still pissed at me. I pushed against my chest, her lips forcefully trying to pull away from mine but I caught her lips in between my teeth (a decision which I later regretted).

“Ouch! Did you just bite me?”

“Serves you right,” she scoffed. She moved away, went towards the bed and plopped down on it. “Where have you been?” she asked in a demanding voice.
