Marcus's POV:

“Maggie,” I heard Chloe hiss in an unwelcoming tone.

That was when I actually got a whiff of Maggie's scent. She had a lot of nerves coming back in here. I was going to intervene, but then, I couldn't resist the pleasure of watching the drama unfold.

I finally decided to just watch them and only step in if it got out of hand.

“He let you sleep here?!”
