Katherine staggered backward in shock, before turning around quickly to face him properly, "Oh, Lucifer," She said breathlessly, "I was... I just... I was about following Father to his room to see Wilson and say goodnight." 

Lucifer hummed in response, his hands crossed behind his back. "Is that so?" He asked, his voice eerily calm and low as he stepped closer to Cassius. 

So close that their noses were almost touching. He felt something was odd and off. Katherine was biting her lower lips nervously, her brows furrowed, while Cassius was shivering heavily.
