Katherine stared at Lucifer in awe. So, she’d really just been worrying for nothing all this while, huh?

“Wait, are you serious, Lucifer? She asked again to ensure that she heard correctly.

“Katherine,” He lifted his eyes away from the documents, “What did I say earlier? Get out of my study.” He commanded, and Katherine nodded, her body jittery.

Happy, she ran out of his office and back to her room, only to jump in bed and kick her feet excitedly. Even though this was no call for celebration, she had narrowly escaped Lucifer’s wrath and that was something to be grateful for.
