The early morning air was chill as it occupied Asher’s lungs. Breathing in was hard and it made his insides numb. His feet hit the pavement in rhythm as he jogged, left, right, left. Almost as though he was trying to outrun the problem in his chest.
The streets were empty and the sky still gray with dawn. He sighed deeply.
He needed this.
