Riley felt uncomfortable. She had tried to dress very casually and look neutral at best but she still looked off against her will.

“Hi man,” she muttered when Lucifer walked in and flashed him an all knowing smile.

“I thought I was never going to see you again,” Lucifer teased, bringing in a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. “You're scarce around here.”

“I've been busy lately man and I get it. That was mean of me. I should have been more involved with you,” she said in a small voice.
