Carla's POV

Evening comes in a jiffy, the party and dinner night out is set to begin by 8 PM but I have to be there by or before 7 PM as I'm one of the organizers of the event. Luckily, Julie arrives on time, we have a light dinner before she goes off to study for the night. As the time to leave reaches, she kisses me goodbye.

"Sorry, we can't continue what we began today but we will for another day, for sure." She assures me, patting my cheeks. "I wish I could come with you, but I wouldn't be allowed."

"Sorry about that."
