Lucian's POV

After Camille told me this, I sensed God answering my prayers. This was what I needed, what I even wanted from Carla, I was rejoicing when Carla came in. She told me she went on a stroll around the estate, seeing me smiling and talking all to myself, she gave some sense of suspicion from her face.

"What's going on, Lucian?" She walked closer to the sofa which I was lying on and brushed my arms, looking straight into my eyes. I gave her unsteady glances, thinking of what to tell her, I couldn't tell her the truth as this was the same thing I expected from her....
