Reedah’s POV

I sighed as we stepped inside the house, I noticed everywhere was dark and Herons groaned. “I forgot to recharge the electricity,” he said, and I could hear the embarrassment in his voice.

I chuckled, “It’s fine, you got candles, right?” I asked.

“Yes,” he replied and walked away. It wasn’t that hard to walk around the house because we could see in the dark, Herons returned awhile after with a lit candle in his hand, he placed it on the center table and we both sat down on different sofas.

“Is this comfortable enough? I promise to pay for electricity first thing in the morning” he said...
