I sat there, still in shock from the encounter with the rogues. I couldn't understand why they hadn't killed me. They had the upper hand, and they could have easily done it. But they had just… disappeared. It made no sense to me, and I was left with more questions than answers.

What did they want? Why did they leave without harming me? Was there something more to their story that I didn't know? These questions swirled through my mind, leaving me with a sense of unease and confusion.
