THIRD POV
She paced around the room, her heart racing and her mind full of worry. It had been two days since she had sent the rogues on their mission, and she had not heard from them since. She didn't know if they were alive or dead, if they had succeeded or failed.
She had given them strict instructions, but she couldn't be sure that they had followed them. She felt a heavy sense of dread settling over her, and she knew that she would not be able to rest until she knew what had happened.
In a vain attempt to soothe her nerves, she moved to the coffee maker...
