Carmen was the first to open her tired eyes as the noise from the doorbell echoed through the house. Then she immediately shut her eyelids as an agonizing pain ripped through her head.

After a few seconds went by, it clicked to Carmen’s mind that the lamp she previously saw wasn't an item she had in her room.

It didn't help her worry when she felt a manly hand around her waist and his smell on her.

‘What did I do last night?’ Carmen cried in her head as she tightly squeezed her lips together to stop herself from screaming out loud.
