Roman and Alec stood face to face in the middle of the room. Neither of them looking away.

“You really think that it bothers me that you’re back?” Roman asked. “You think I’m scared that you survived?”

“I don’t know Roman. That's for you to feel and for me to observe.” Alec replied. “And from where I'm standing it seems like you’ve done a whole lot of feeling.”

“What the hell are you talking about?” Roman said.

“I watched you for months," Alec said softly. “The secret parts of you no one seemed to see. Your careless nights in the underground club you have hidden in your hotel.”
