“Let's talk about you, how have you been by the way? And that guy…Tate, have you met him yet?”

Confusion etched my face, and I didn't know what to say. “I…actually we met and it's as if we have the same agenda though,” still my thought couldn't drift from the persistent call and how he suspiciously shoved that conversation under the carpet.

It's not as though we are actually in a romantic relationship, but I've observed that he doesn't actually like answering any phone calls when I'm around.

Should I be worried? Could it be something he's hiding from me?...
