“Finally!” I exhaled in relief.

For the past few minutes, I had been walking around the large building, trying to figure out Alpha Lorenzo’s study was located.

“If only you had come a minute earlier, you would have met him.” Leo said, his voice dripping with disappointment.

Instantly, my face fell.

“You kept him waiting for too long.” He shrugged. “I hope he doesn't flare up when he sees you.” He added.

With my hands clasped together, I leaned forward.

“Where can I find him?” I asked, hoping he didn't step out of the palace.

“He went down the hallway, if you’re quick enough, you will meet him.”...
