Alexa's Point Of View

"What do you mean by that?" Akira demanded authoraitively. "I thought I saw him at the funeral," 

"He did, Alpha but he disappeared right after the send off." 

Akira's expression hardened. He came back in and picked up his sword. "Let's go," he ordered as he tied the rope of his robe. 

We exited the main palace and went outside. We met Ace there, holding up a torch as his searched for Riaz. 

"Ace!" I called and he turned to me. One look at him and you could tell that he was insanely worried. 

"What happened here?" Akira asked.
