"Where has your alpha gone to?" I asked a maid I ran into. After Akira and I parted, I haven't seen him all evening. My thought was that he was with Isabella so I am on the way to her room.

"I don't know, my lady but my guess is that he has gone on a mission,"

I tilted my head sideways, "mission?"

"Yes, my lady." She replied and bowed curtly before leaving. Mission? That means he's out of the pack, right?

I turned back, ready to leave but then I remember Isabella. Is she still asleep? I turned in the direction of her room and...
