Chapter 4 Filthy bitch

Chapter 4 Filthy bitch

By the time they got back, the media had gotten wind of their marriage.

Josh cared less about this and successfully avoided the bunch of nosy humans. Once inside, the old man was seen bouncing on his feet while smiling like a three years old kid who just got a candy.

As soon as Angela stepped into the living room, her hands were immediately held in a tight grasp. Angela was started and immediately tried to pull her hands away but she realized that the person holding her hands was holding it in a death grip. Unable to take the discomfort anymore, Angela raised her heads and she came face-to-face with the childish old man who still couldn't stop bouncing on his feet. She immediately relaxed a little after seeing that it was none other than the old man who was holding her hands. Not that she hated anyone's touch, she just couldn't imagine someone who dislikes her holding her hands like they've been friends for ages. She was very much aware of the disgust Josh's family had shown towards her when the old man introduced her to them.

"Kid, what are you thinking about? Did this grandson of mine make you unhappy?", the old man's voice rang, disrupting all of Angela's thought. As soon. as he said this, he threw a glare at Josh who nonchalantly raised his left brow. His action greatly angered the old man who was about to lose his temper.

The old man held her s forehead in resignment and chose to ignore his stupid grandson.

Meanwhile, josh's parent as well as his Aunt and her family all watched their actions with clenched jaw. If looks could kill, Angela would have been six feet under the ground. They all hated him the fact that she had gained their old man's attention.

Angela was about to reply when servants in a row walked out of the kitchen into the dining room. Angela's mouth watered as she stared at the varieties of food been carried.

She swallowed hard and refused to take her eyes off the food for fear that they'll vanish if she doesn't.

Her little yet cute actions didn't go unnoticed by old brown and Josh. Old Brown was smiling while Josh frowned. He was greatly repulsed by her actions.

"Let's go and eat" Old Brown declared and Angela almost ran to the dining room but immediately controlled herself. While having breakfast, Angela was too focused on her food to notice that every member of the Brown family all had the same expression on their faces. They all had the same thought running in their head. 'she had no eating etiquette'.

Although, Old Brown was dissatisfied, but he was also amused. He had never expected that he'd meet someone who'd do as she pleased without being affected by his aura.

No one made an effort to congratulate Josh and Angela on their marriage except Old Brown, the man was as lively as ever. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of cutleries touching each other.

Everyone apart from Angela ate with burden.

After breakfast, Josh's parent including his Aunt all went to their respective workplaces.

The only ones left in the living room was Old Brown, Angela and Josh. Angela sat on the chair lost in thought. Occasionally, she moved uncomfortably on the chair. From others opinion it may appear that she wasn't comfortable with the chair but in fact, she was more than comfortable with the chair. It was after eating she had realized something had gone wrong and matter grew worse when she pinpointed that it was her eating behavior.

Josh had just stood up when he was stopped by Old Brown.

"Where do you think you're going?", he asked as he scrutinized josh's sturdy figure.

"I'm heading to work", Josh replied curtly. The old man was immediately angered. He stamped his walking stick on the floor while glaring at Josh.

"Is this how I thought you?", Old Brown asked, his teeth tightly clenched.

"I don't know grandpa. Was this how you taught me?" Josh asked innocently and with a small yet unnoticeable smirk gracing his lips.

Old Brown felt his head explode as soon as he heard josh's question. He held his chest and faked a ragged breathing. Immediately, Josh was worried and he immediately ran close to him.

"Grandpa, grandpa! What's wrong with you?", Josh held Old Brown's hand with worry etched on his face. Due to his concern, he didn't notice the sly smile the Old man had.

As soon as Josh held Old Brown's hand, Old Brown immediately held on tightly to his hand which brought pain to Josh but he chose to hold it in cause the old man was in pain. Unaware of the evil plan Old Brown was about performing, Josh frowned in concern.

Once Old Brown had tightly held on to josh's hand in a death grip, he raised the walking stick in his other hand and directly struck Josh's back.

"You unfilial grandson, do you want to kill me before my time?", the man yelled as he kept on holding tightly to Josh's hand.

Meanwhile, Angela was no longer lost in thought ever since old brown had began scolding Josh.

"Grandpa!", Josh yelled. To say he was shocked would be an understatement. He knew Old Brown was full of tricks but he didn't think he'd fall for it once again.

"Don't grandpa me! Have you gotten to know your wife?", Old Brown yelled and Josh froze in shock. Yeah, his single days were over and he was no longer single but now married. Just then, he caught sight of the small smile Angela had on and couldn't help but be mesmerized. He had never seen someone with a smile as beautiful as that.

Angela was unaware she was being stared at. She was enjoying the banter between old Brown and her husband. Oops... husband?

Yeah, she was married. Angela was lost in thought and didn't hear the sound of shoes clicking on the floor. She was brought back to reality when she heard a loud yell.
