I spent the first day of my new job getting to know the people I would be working most closely with. What I discovered was a group of artists and writers who were quite nice, and some of them were extremely talented and creative, but for the most part they seemed to live within the lines. As someone who likes to color outside of those lines, I was a little disappointed that so many people just wanted to maintain the status quo, although at the same time I wasn't surprised.
