As magical as this whirlwind trip through Europe had been, it was coming to an end. Tomorrow I would return to my old life in San Diego, California, as Ronny Hush's assistant.

For a moment, I pushed that reality away and reflected on this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Italy. Swiss. The Netherlands. France. San Diego and California had a lot of beauty, and even history, but they were nothing like what I had seen in all these wonderful countries. The food was delicious. The art was equally impressive. The photos in books and on the Internet didn't do it justice.
