"INHALE, exhale. You can do that, Jelle. Just approach Guji and presto! You are already in the first base," she said to herself. She was currently in the canteen in their university. She had a lunch break and because Guji was her classmate, he also had a lunch break now.

She was holding at that time her tray of food that she had bought here at the university canteen. Her plan was to accompany Guji's meal. His girlfriend is not at the same time eating with him so it is not too difficult for her to accompany him. Add that the tables are almost full and only the table is still quite vacant. He eats alone.

She took a deep breath and was sure of the steps he was approaching Guji. But before she could get completely close to the man, one hand took her tray and suddenly grabbed her waist. She gasped aloud when she felt a jolt of electricity that flowed to her body because of that single touch.

She closes her eyes and avoids looking at the man and his companion. He turned his attention to Reus. He frowned when he noticed that Reus was staring straight at him. Many emotions were swirling on Reus' eyes that she couldn't put a name.

One of them she guessed was worry? Concern? Or was it sadness? He did not know, and he had no intention of finding out.

He was blown away by the wind and turned his attention to food. He put aside the hand that seemed to be squeezing his heart because of what he witnessed between Guji and his girlfriend. Yes, there seemed to be a knife in his heart to the witness, but he could not get angry with the woman who seemed to steal the love of Guji that he thought he should have. Because he knew in himself that in the first place, Guji was not his.

"Why can't you let go of Guji, Jelle?" he heard Reus ask.

He did not bother to look at it. He did not want to see in her eyes the pity for her. Who wouldn't feel sorry for him? She seems to be a woman lacking in attention. Pathetic. He knew Reus looked at him like that.

It was painful to hear, it was straight to the point, it was cutting her heart into pieces to hear the truth. But along with the pain is the one that is gradually relieving her. Maybe it was because of his deep concern over Reus' voice. At the same time he could not help but wonder what it was doing now.

He punched her lightly on the shoulder but he couldn't stop the smile from appearing on his lips. He did not know what Reus had and it made him smile easily despite what he was going through now.

"Thank you," she said smiling at Reus, her smile was sincere, as she thanked the man.

Because of the words Reus uttered, he seemed to be focused. She decided to stop this foolishness already. She guessed it was time for her to move on and give up on Guji. She knew even before today that this was the right thing to do. He just needs to be focused on other people to be more conscious.
