Elena - POV

I closed my eyes and concentrated on Letty's mind, attempting to unblock the memories cast on her. I could hear Janice's voice in Letty's head, but this time I glimpsed a fragment of the past in Letty's eyes.

Letty's **Flashback**

"Who are you, bitch? Huh? Let me guess, you're Jake's new whore? That asshole used me as a pawn and threw me away like trash. I'll kill him." Letty growled in a fury. I observed Letty's hands bound to the chair, and the surroundings looked familiar. I glanced at Jake, who appeared furious as he stared at Letty.
