Elena - POV

Despite my initial objection, I planned to visit the witches tonight, but Yuri insisted on accompanying me. Before meeting the witches, I intended to meet Emily. I called her to the Human City, but it was challenging to leave Wolf Land as Silas asked numerous questions before granting permission. I despised asking for permission but understood Silas's concern for everyone's safety.

Emily and I sat in the VIP lounge. "Thanks for arranging this. I meant to talk to you," Emily said, sipping her coffee.

"There are a few things I need to know from you as well," I replied.

"I know what you want to know, Elena....
