Maria looked up at her then. “Making your lingerie isn’t an easy thing, especially when you’re working with fabric this fine.”

“I ruined a lot before I got the hang of it,” Mia explained. “I started making things just for myself because I couldn’t get any decent lingerie in the small town where I lived. It started as an experiment, and then it grew from there.”

“And now you have a thriving business.”

“I don’t know about thriving,” Mia said with a shrug. “But it pays the bills. A blogger got a hold of a couple of pieces and then posted a review and my business took off.”...
