Willison watched Mia over his coffee as she ate her pancakes…although, truthfully, he thought there was more maple syrup than a pancake on her plate. He’d spent the night with his arms wrapped around her, and he wondered subconsciously if he had been worried she would bolt. And then he wondered why it was so important to him that she didn’t. He’d never been concerned about a woman walking away after sex before. He preferred it in all honesty, so why was it different with Mia? Probably because sex had been nothing like what he experienced with Mia.
