Living Souls.

During the two hours of non-stop teaching her about her healing ability, the noisiest one of them kept on babbling on and on and naturally spilled what Living Souls are.

They were not plants. All along, she thought she could talk to the plants themselves, but turned out, that they were the souls of a plant that lived for hundreds of years that they gained consciousness. As they were already souls, they could move from one ‘unconscious’ plant to another, taking over their ‘bodies’ for a while. It seems convenient, but they can’t stay away from their original area for too long...
