Chapter Sixty-Nine: Bond Breaking

Mallory stood on her paws, feeling her feet touch the ground. She thought that in her wolf form, she would stand lower, but to her surprise, her form was half the height of her original body.

Her wolf was unbelievably huge.

“My Goddess,” she said, her yet still unfamiliar mouth moved. “I did it!”

Her head was still throbbing, but it felt like she had taken a pain-reducing pill.

The pain that remained was coming after ticks and intervals, and the ravings had soon become muffled like something had blocked her ears.

Mallory was free.
