"And my mother?" I heard her voice demanding an answer I knew I don't have yet. I could already sense and smell her fear as though there were my very own. Avalon has been through so much these past few days that I doubt she would react well to anything I have to tell her at this point.

"Did you find my mother or she is_she is death?" Her question came strong yet stumbling after each other as her eyes continue to search my green ones for answers she was certain I could give.
