“Jessica!” Richard called out.

“Yes”, she said, snapping back to reality.

“Alright, I’ll pick you up this evening”, he said to her and she widened her eyes.

The yes was a response to him calling her name and not the date. She was still figuring out what to say to him and now she didn’t know how to tell him that she didn’t say yes in response to that.

“Will you like to go in your work clothes or will you want to go home to change?” He asked her and she nodded.
