Erlan took a deep breath before answering. "Kayra escaped from prison. She's now a fugitive."

I was shocked. "How is that possible? Shouldn't the security be tight?"

Erlan nodded. "It should be, but somehow she managed to escape. Andi just told me. The police are looking for me now."

I felt a mixture of worry and relief. "Is she dangerous? Should we be worried?"
