Ari's POV
The chill of the cold floor had already invaded my bones. The silver cuffs were painful to my wrists, and my legs trembled every time I attempted to move. Guards on the outside were laughing once more and were discussing how the "witch" would be brought out in the morning.
I banged my head on the wall and said, Harriet, please be safe.
