Rylan’s jaw tightened. And cease to pry into the health of the Alpha. I said I’m handling it.”

 

That hit me. Handling it? When did a Beta begin to do medical? I approached, pretending to be seeking herbs in my pocket.

 

Rylan froze when he saw me. His face turned the other way around and was difficult to decipher.

 

Healer, said he with a false smile. “Working early?”
