Raymond took a moment to collect himself before returning to the meeting. He was starting to feel irritable, and the meeting hadn't even started yet. What he would feel at the end, remained to be seen.

"Now," Elder Elias leaned forward, steepling his fingers on the table. “Before we address any other matters, we must discuss the woman living under the same roof as our Alpha.”

Elder Elias turned to Raymond. "Now, Alpha, what have you to say about that?"

"Emilia’s presence in the pack house doesn’t disturb anything, Elias." Raymond interjected. “You’re just worried about your precious daughter being overshadowed by her.”
