EMILIA'S POV

Emilia watched Raymond's back after his former mate had walked out of the house. He stood in a spot, tense and agitated, for so long that Emilia began to get scared. His muscles looked taut and it looked as though he was tryijg valiantly to control his hands from hitting something.

Emilia shifted uncertainly. The whole room was full of awkward silence. She wanted to make a move: say something or place a hand on Ray's shoulders, but she was a little fearful of his anger. She'd seen a few of his outbursts in the past.

After a while he seemed to relax, and he turned to them....
