Every Saturday and Sunday, Brent is really soaked in drinking with his friends. They have moved to Keiraville, a community for the rich but the man is still the same.
That's why I hope that he won't drink during the week because he got drunk yesterday. I would like to visit my brother Rejil because it has been quite a while since we last talked.
I woke up at five in the morning and immediately cooked our breakfast. And since I craved champorado, I also made a little because I was the only one to eat. My husband doesn't like it, and so does Marian.
Before seven o'clock in the morning, everything was ready. I just have to wait for Marian to come back because she was still walking with my son.
Brent? I'm sure he's still snoring from being so drunk. I can wake him up but I'm not in the mood to go see him. I was so disappointed that he didn't even make an effort to be sweet with her. At least hugs and kisses and no more chukchakan, but there's really nothing, eh!
As in ZERO!
I'd better eat a champorado first while waiting for Marian because my stomach is grumbling. While I was enjoying the hot pandesal that I dipped in the champorado broth, the man suddenly came down. He had a towel on his shoulder, what a miracle!
“Good morning, Mi.”
Yayy, the guy still has a good morning because he knows that my beauty is cold because of his indifference. “Morning to you too, no hangover?”
“Nothing,” he answered briefly.
“Ah, that's good. Let's go visit my brother,” I told him but he immediately shook his head. I frowned adorably because of his refusal.
“My friends and I have a walk,” reasoned Brent.
At that moment, maybe if I only had a ghost race, I might have transformed into so much anger and annoyance! “It's embarrassing for your friends,” I said full of sarcasm but he ignored it or he was just really weak. I do not know!
“That's why I will go with them. I already had a cold yesterday so it would be a shame if I suddenly backed out of our walk,” Brent added, as if I really enjoyed listening to his silly reasons!
I threw a spoon at him and it hit me this on the white towel he was carrying. He looked at me badly so I waited for him to get angry. Putangina! Will he still be angry at the situation between the two of us? “Do you have anything to say?” I asked him because it took him so long to react that I had been waiting for a while.
“You're going too far, Kylie!”
I actually laughed at what he said. “My kindness is really going too far, Brent. If you act, it's like you don't have a wife and children. You no longer respect me as your mistress. It took me a long time to accept that you have no love for me, but Brent, at least respect!”
“What is your butsi firing? I pay for the expenses here at home, ah!”
“Is that so? So, you thought that was all your responsibility to me and our son, right? My god, if only I had known that you were such a bitch, my god, I wouldn't have wasted my time on you!”
He was stunned by what I said. I don't want to hurt her feelings as much as I can but I'm full! Brent bowed, and I thought he was going to cry. It turned out that he just shook the grain of rice in the champorado that stuck to his towel.
“I'm sorry if I'm not the ideal,” he said before leaving.
Alas, alas, alas! It looks like I'm still the one to blame because of my standard, I did choose him, didn't I? Is it hard to understand that I also want to be with him every weekend? I'm fed up with work every weekday, but also on the weekend? Brent is really having a good time.
I tried to follow him upstairs but before I could even enter our room he closed the door right in my face! It's a good thing my nose is original, because if I just had it done, oh, I might have to spend money on repairs.
When I came down, I saw Marian taking off my son's shoes. I tried to smile at the two and signaled to Marian that I would take care of the child first and that she could eat now.
“Let's go together, just a moment and I'll prepare the table,” answered Marian.
“Alright, it's up to you.”
The child is in a highchair and is enjoying his breakfast of scrambled eggs. She's only two years old, but she's trying hard to be independent, especially when it comes to food. Marian and I just let him go but still under supervision of course. It's hard.
“Did you and Brent fight?”
“Not at all,” I lied.
“Oh, that's why there is champorado scattered on the floor. Maybe the cat just said that,” Marian said, so I'll just admit it.
“We don't have a cat here,” I reminded him.
“There is, and that's you when you're really angry,” Marian answered.
“It's annoying! Today is supposed to be a family day because it's a week but he has a walk, imagine that? He said he was embarrassed by his friends but he wasn't embarrassed by me, what kind of thinking does Brent have now?”
Marian shook her head before speaking, “I don't know either, but maybe Brent has another woman. Check with his office,” suggested Marian.
“I'll chat with his friend later.”
“Don't delay or you will be late,” said Marian.
“Hey, don't be afraid of that!”
“Are you scared?”
“A little,” I admitted.
Even though Brent and I had a misunderstanding, I can't imagine him having another woman. My god, I might kill!
Should I just be a martyr for the rest of my life so that he won't leave me? I don't think I can do that!
We finished breakfast when Brent came downstairs and was dressed. She also has a bag and her hair is even gelled! “Where are you going?”
“Just over there somewhere,” Brent replied without even looking at me and just focused his eyes on the screen of his phone.
I don't know why I was embarrassed by his useless answer or I was embarrassed by Marian because it was obvious that Brent didn't really care about me anymore.
What will I do?
