The next day, Ji Hyo visits the hospital again to meet with Jong Kook. She carried a full paper bag of pears with her and stepped her feet vigorously. She even sometimes jumped happily during her journey towards the man's room. But her steps were stopped when she reached Jong Kook's room.

            There was Mrs. Kim, Yoon Hee and her mother outside the door of the room. They looked so sad with tears filling their eyes. Yoon Hee's mother cried along with Mrs. Kim while hugging her in the chair while Yoon Hee cried alone in the corner of the room near the door.
