It had been two days since Novel was discharged. Two days since the truth of the twins, the pills, and the murder of her parents had finally come to light. The realization that both the doctor and the woman claiming to be her mother were lying monsters burned in my gut. I had already instructed Viktor to bring them both to the cells . I intended to teach them a lesson in pain for what they did to my girl, but for now, they would have to rot. I had a more pressing mystery to solve.
