Novel's POV
He shifted back into his wolf, and once again I saw the image of the myths: a massive, pitch-black beast with piercing golden eyes. I climbed onto him, and though I was terrified, I held on for dear life as he ran. It was incredible, an exhilarating experience, but I was too scared to look at my surroundings until he finally came to a halt.
When I slid down from his back, my stomach churned, and I ended up throwing up from the sheer speed. By the time I turned back to look at him, he was already dressed in human form.
“Let’s go,” he beckoned.
