Hazel's POV

" My prince, please, I want to sit down for a bit "

I said while feeling him slightly touching my back but not that sure, My body is so heavy, I started to wear my clothes again, feeling numb in my arms.

" Call me Alex, alright?"

He said while looking at me differently.

His eyes start to glow, it was pure red.

I couldn't talk or move like I was stunned.

" Alex, d, did you drug me? "

He pushed me to the chair fast that I gasped, I didn't even notice his move, he grabbed my leg to his arm to look at my injury.

" You poor thing had to suffer while running from all these people "

He said after throwing my leg again then cornered me to look closely at my eyes.

" People?"

" My spy told me, there's a beautiful strong woman in a village nearby, many men from the whole kingdom came for her to marry her, but she killed them all "

" WHAT !? "

I said in fear, I'm not a killer!

" Now let me have my dinner "

He said and before I move he sunk his teeth deep into my neck and starts to drink, horrible sounds coming from his mouth.

" No, what are you doing? "

I pushed him with all the power I'd left, he didn't move an inch, instead, he moved on his own.

" It's not the wine effect, honey, it's my ability, anyway, you're so tasty, surely warrior humans are the best, the villagers are the best "

He is laughing like a mad person with his bloody teeth while licking his fingers.

I put my left hand on my neck, but I didn't find the injury.

I tried to move but I feel like a log.

I said while looking at his eyes, which turned normally to blue.

" Who said we can't? We can normally enjoy human food, that's not our problem now "

He got closer, playing with my hair.

" Would you kill the king for me putting that to his food or not? "

He whispered in my ear while I holding on the bottle to my chest.

The king is a good leader, everybody loves him, ruled for many ages, and I didn't even know he is a vampire.

Who am I to kill him?

They didn't want to kill him so they didn't get caught and die at his hands.

Stupid cowards.

" I'm not killing him "

I said my final decision without making eye contact with him.

He is still calmly playing with my hair.

" I see, then you prefer watching your cute boyfriend die? "

" What are you saying?"

He stood up going to the door, I ran behind him!

" You won't come near Umera! LEAVE HIM ALONE! "

Suddenly I felt my dad dragging me away, some people grabbing Umera.

We're in the village.

" Nooo! Leave Umera Alone! Daad, please! Umera is innocent "

I looked around me, I'm still inside the prince's office.

" You were screaming looking at the ground, that made me worried a little I must say "

Alex the prince said, he was right! I'm a villager.

There's a dark accident that happened to me and Umera!

I hated my father.

I asked him one more time and he smiled widely with a simple nod.

" Do that for me and no one would discover what happened, not even your boyfriend "

He said While making me stand, I nod while wiping my tears.

And by that I made a deal with the prince that night, the more I remember it, the more I feel like dying.

Knowing that I was a killer, I killed the whole village.

And that I'll kill the king everyone loves.

And there's a vampire above all that!

Umera is probably knowing that I'm a killer already, that's why he is so terrified and keeps saying he is sorry.

He was afraid of me, but he saved me anyway.

Many days have passed, and I didn't kill the king yet, every time I'm able to put the liquid inside his food.

Something in me stops me, telling me 'no stop.'

I don't even know how did I kill many people before.

I stopped talking with Umera, he doesn't deserve someone like me.

My tears stopped falling, and I stopped eating.

I was fixing my dress before going out of the kitchen.

Tomorrow is the day, I must kill him and run away.

When I entered my room, Umera was there like every day, looking at me with all the sadness in the world.

" Late job again? I don't know why suddenly the prince changed your job to work in the kitchen all day, I'm not allowed there anymore"

I smiled at him and sat down on the bed to touch my back with a lot of pain.

I felt Umera's hands on my back.

" Doing you a massage, you look tired "

I said while laughing in sadness, I don't feel like living anymore.

" I started to work as a servant, cool right?"

He asked me and I nodded Without talking.

" You don't look happy, something in your mind?"

He keeps asking every day.

" I'm good, Umera, just a bit tired "

I said and pushed his hands after a long massage, trying to sleep.

" What about that, we run away together?"

He suddenly said that made me press on my head with pain.

"W, What did you say?"

I heard someone saying this before.

I stood up quickly to look at him.

I asked him and he was nervous.

" You're perfect"

I threw a pillow at him and his shiny smile disappeared.

" I love you, Hazel, the moment you saved me and I saw you, your kindness, your pure heart, I just love you "

He told me, his eyes were sparkling, light tears fell out, I was going to wipe his tears but suddenly I looked at my hands to find blood.

I'm terrified of myself.

Without knowing I screamed closing my eyes tight on my tears.

There was a minute of silence so I continue.

" I killed the whole village and ran away, you, saved me, you, why did you save a monster like Me, why !! "

I was hitting him while looking at his tears falling.

" I don't deserve to be alive, how many villages that I've burned, HOW MANY !- "

I was going to continue but Umera suddenly grabbed me into a deep kiss.

We both are crying, it's a salty kiss like I'm kissing the ocean.

He was hugging me while kissing I'm hesitant still to touch him, but finally, I grabbed his hair strongly to deepen the kiss.

We broke it to breathe and he is resting his head on mine.

" We're together in peace, in war, it doesn't matter if you're a killer, or I'm the one who kills, even if you're the worst person in the whole world, I'll still fall for you Hazel, I hope you feel the same about me "

He said while breathing loudly, I hugged him tightly.

" I love you Umera, I don't know what happened before, to us, but I hope you forgive and forget "

I said finally throwing the past behind me.

" You don't have to kill the king, I can do that for you "

He said and I opened my eyes looking at him.
