Hazel's POV

" Umera, Umera? "

I called his name, many times already but he was looking at my face, silent.

I shook his hand, and he finally smiled.

" Sorry, I was thinking of something "

He said then covered me gently under the blanket.

" Please rest, I'll guard you until you fall asleep"

He said then grabbed the plate, and spoon and began to feed me.

I smiled and then ate what he gave me.

I was so tired, suddenly I slept.

The next morning

" Good morning my sunflower "

I felt Umera kiss my forehead I woke up smiling.

I smell his great cooking, my stomach begging me for some food.

" I can eat by myself "

I said half smiling, I like to be fed by him actually.

" I like feeding you"

He simply said with his great smiling face.

After I finished my meal he grabbed me into his hug and placed a kiss on my hair.

" I love you so much"

He said

" I know, I know, I love you too"

I replied, I'm sad, I really love him, but I can't do anything to disobey my father.

Suddenly we heard a scream from outside, Umera is wearing his clothes fast, and I was doing the same.

" Take your time, you're still tired, I'll go check and come back quickly"

He said then ran away outside, I hear so much noise that I was extremely curious about what is happening.

I finally outside Umera's room, I walked towards the crowd, then I placed my hand on my mouth.

It was rob.

My fiance, it's only his head.

" It was your doing! I know you're the killer! "

my dad is screaming in the crowd and points his finger at Umera.

" You're the killer! "

" Let's burn him "

" Catch him! "

The villagers were angry, trying to grab his hand, I screamed.

No one cares about what am I saying.

I raised my voice this time, they were disgusted by my words.

My dad screamed and slapped me hard that I knocked to the ground.

He said and grabbed my hair while pointing at Umera.

I screamed but I was taken away.

I heard Umera scream but I couldn't do anything.

I was locked up in my own room for a while now, for about 9 hours.

It was dark outside already I decided I'll sneak out the window, no one will see me running away.

Maybe Umera's in prison again.

I jumped out the window and it wasn't hard.

Actually, someone caught me.

" Umera? "

I said and he was smiling at me, his face has some blood on it.

His mouth dripping blood.

His eyes were shining with their silver color.

" Did they hurt you? "

He asked me to put myself on my feet, I took a nice look at him, I'm the one that should be worried.

" Come with me, I'll clean you up "

I said then went to the village well.

I grabbed the water from the bucket and start to clean his beautiful face which was not smiling anymore.

" Did he hurt you? "

He asked me again and I shook my head.

" You're covered in blood and you ask me? Umera, you don't know how much I was worried "

I said and he smiled again or forced himself to smile.

" I'm okay, they didn't hurt me that much "

He said while I was cleaning his body, looking around me.

Strangely, no one is around.

" Let's get back to the village, we're going to explain that you didn't kill Rob "

I said and grabbed his hand after he got dressed.

But he didn't move.

" Hazel"

" Hmm? "

" Let's run away together "

He said to me with empty eyes, I blinked two times.

" Umera I said I can't run away from my family "

I said and he grabbed my both arms to hug me.

" I know Hazel, but they don't like me, they will kill me, you don't know what they were doing to me in that prison "

He said in a sad tune and I pat his back trying to look at his crying face.

" Umera, I "

" Please Hazel, You're the only one I care about "

He said and I kissed his lips.

" If that would make you feel better, I'll go get my things "

I said while crying for thinking of running away because of him.

" No! "

He grabbed my arm to stop me.

I looked at him in fear.

" You can't go there! Let's just leave! Please"

He said and I pushed him away.

" Umera! It will take a minute please wait here! "

I said but he hugged me from my back.

" Hazel stop, I don't want to hurt you "

He said while kissing my neck, I panicked, why he doesn't want me to go to the village?

I hit him with my elbow to break free, he tried to get me again I grabbed the well's bucket and then hit him with it strong enough, finally he let go of dripping blood from his head.

I shivered while running back to the village.

" Where is everyone? "

I said in fear while looking in every direction, of the room.

" Father! Brother! "

I start screaming, but no one answered, suddenly I saw some smoke in front of me.

I went to check, there was a pile of dead villagers inside the fire.

I fell to the ground and saw my father's head in front of me, burning.

" I was generous enough to not eat them completely, you should appreciate it "

I heard Umera's voice from behind me, I looked in his direction in fear.

" You, you killed them! "

I cried and he was looking at me, his face full of blood.

" Are you the one who killed my finances as well? My dad was right about you from the start! "

I said screaming, standing on my feet.

The atmosphere was filled with smoke smell, dead burned bodies laying, and I started to vomit.

" Those idiots hurt you, they treated you badly, I did that for you, for your safety "

He said while trying to grab my hand, I slapped him on his face.

" What you did is horrible! Do you think I'll appreciate it? I was happy to obey my father, to marry someone rich to make him proud, now what? You thought I'll love you more now! "

I screamed and pushed his chest, he looked at me sadly.

" We don't have to hide our love now, look at us, just you and me, we will run from here, make our village, full of sunflowers, away from everyone "

He said while opening his hands for me so I can hug him.

Like hell I do.

" You're the villagers' killer! You, "

I was lost for words and started to vomit again, the idea of making love with a killer and a psycho.

" You're vomiting too much, you should rest"

He said trying to hold me, I slapped his hands away and then started to run.

" Hazel stop! Hazel please "

I kept hearing him from behind, I went through the trees trying to reach the street from here.

" Please someone help me! "

I kept screaming and he kept running after me.

I looked at the full moon with tears filling my face.

" God "

I said while tripping and falling badly,

I was about to shout, I think I broke my arm.

I tried to stay calm, so Umera can't find me.

Suddenly I saw a large grey wolf with silver eyes approaching me.

I backed away in fear screaming from my broking arm.

The wolf came closer to my face, he is about to eat me.

I shut my eyes tight before I felt a large lick on my face.

I opened my eyes and saw the wolf changing, I saw it turning into a human.

His face.

He is Umera.

" Your arm is broken "

He said trying to make me stand.

I almost reach the street, there are many cars there I can ask for help.

" I was so scared that I'll lose you "

He said while holding me tight.

My legs were shaking, he is a wolf! A werewolf!

" You killed my family "

I said while looking at the cars.

" I did that to survive, they always treated me as a monster "

He said while breaking the hug to look at me.

" Let's go, Hazel, we'll find a shelter, and we'll fix your arm "

He said and I smiled at him with no emotions.

" Sure, let's do that "

I said and he smiled while walking in front of me.

Without thinking I ran towards the cars.

" HAZEL !!!! "

That's the last thing I heard before The car hit me so hard.

I was inside Umera's hug, covered in my blood.

" No no, HAZEL, you can't leave me, you can't die! Please "

I closed my eyes holding the tears.

" Noo ! "

I passed out.
