Chapter Seventy-one

I woke up the next morning a mixture of optimistic and cautious. I didn’t want to hope too much that Louis would actually manage to find a solution. But I was hoping. If he could actually find a solution, if we could expose Alpha Roman to the pack, everything would be great. We would finally be together. The thought warmed my heart. To think I had once resented him. And now I could barely go a second without thinking about him.
