My hands shook by my side as I watched the elevator doors slid shut, sealing us in glass and steel.
Alexander stood behind me, close enough that I felt the heat of him through my blouse. His breath fanned my neck but I stilled my body, aware that the elevator was very well see through. One dangerous move, and our face could be pasted in the gossip mill the next day.
