I stared at him, my legs still rooted to the dark, but weighing my options. My brain told me to run,take his advice to leave and never turn back. Alexander is a monster even though he just partially admitted that he loved me.

Did I love him too? 

Was I ready to risk my life and heart just so I could claim him?

Could I afford putting him first above my own sanity?

Yes… I had never been sure about something more than I did at that moment. I wanted Alexander with every fiber of my being. Even if being with him felt like fire licking my skin....
